Information about payout timing and analytics

Hello, we have some general questions about Epic Games Store Analytics.

The wishlist counter graph shows the total count as it changes every day right? So if we had 500 on one day, and the next day 550, then we gained +50 total, right?

How should the Monetization Sales graph be interpreted? Is it similar to the wishlist, or does it show sales for each day(so Monday X + Tuesday Y means we sold X+Y on those days)?

The third question is about payout timing. When is the revenue collected and paid out to the Hyperwallet account?

Thanks!

Hi Fenrenc!

Thanks for reaching out with your questions and I’ll do my best to answer these questions for you!

1.) Wishlist Counter - The Wishlist counter does indeed change daily depending on the amount of wishlists accrued but at this time our team is aware of an issue that the current date does not match accuracy. It is suggested to look at the day prior to the current day for the most accurate number of wishlists.

2.) Monetization Sales Graph - This is all dependent on how you have the graph set (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, etc.) but it should show similarly to how the wishlist analytics should appear (which if you’re noticing any oddities, I’m happy to look further into it on your behalf).

3.) Revenue Payout - With the payout timing, you must meet a $100 threshold before the payouts occur and will be paid out at the end of the following month (for example if you make $100 in August, this would be paid out on September 30th). To add, the revenue does end up rolling over if you don’t meet the $100 in a single month (if you make $25 in July and $80 in August, then you would be paid out through Hyperwallet on September 30th with a total of $105).

I do hope this helps but let me know if you have any follow up questions!

Thanks, this clears up some part, but the Sales Graph is still confusing a bit.
If in the graph I have 20 sales for monday, then 15 sales for tuesday, does that mean that I have 35 sales total, or that 5 people refunded and now I only have 15 sales total for that week?

Thanks for the help!

No problem at all!

For a better breakdown of the sales, I suggest selecting the “Store Reports” section within Dev Portal and then “Sales Reports” as this will show a date by date number of sales and refunds for any specific date range you set. The graph itself does not necessarily show refunds/purchases and can fluctuate depending on transactions occurred while also may at times take time to properly congregate all the necessary data.
