INFINITY FLOW — A Cinematic Ambient Film by HARMONYTRON

Created entirely in Unreal Engine 5.6, INFINITY FLOW is a one-hour ambient journey through a vast, surreal desert brought to life with a fully custom landscape, atmospheric simulations, and advanced real-time effects.

Every frame is crafted with meticulous attention:

  • Author’s procedural landscape sculpted and textured from the ground up.

  • Complex atmospheric layers of dust, fog, wind, and drifting sand, creating a living breathing environment.

  • Niagara-driven VFX for cinematic title sequences and subtle particle dynamics.

  • Refined post-production in DaVinci Resolve, with depth maps and atmospheric passes to enhance scale, contrast, and immersion.

  • A soundtrack of piano and synthesizer drones, composed and performed by HARMONYTRON, blending seamlessly with the visuals.

The result is not just a technical demo, but a cinematic meditation on infinity — where music, atmosphere, and landscape merge into a single flowing experience.

INFINITY FLOW demonstrates how Unreal Engine 5.6, combined with professional post-production and sound design, can transcend interactive graphics and become pure cinema.

Hello @ReRobotic ! Welcome back to posting with us here on the forums!

This was an astonishing watch. Both with and without headphones. I normally prefer my ambience with my headphones only but I had to do some cleaning and decided to leave it on. It was oddly refreshing and with the fans going in my room the sound of wind was very atmospheric.

With the mixing of the audio for the wind sound, is it multiple different sounds layered or different?

Looks and sounds great all around. Really enjoyed all the Niagara effects. Were they all in one global system?
