Inertialization Stuttering/Jitter while rotating at high speeds/spamming

I’m having a problem with inertialization when rotating at high speeds or spamming on a first person game. I am using it to transition from idle to sprint sequences. It’s just a simple blend for 2 states within a state machine (1 sec to sprint, 0.3 sec to idle). Everything blends correctly, however the moment I flick the mouse quickly and change the state there is a very visible stutter or frame skipping. The same thing happens when I spam it and it doesn’t finish the 1 second blend. Is there a fix for this?
