inAntrum - Part I

Hi there,
we’re a small indie studio from germany and are currently working on our first Projekt inAntrum. inAntrum is a 3D action-adventure-RPG, developed in 5 Parts. The gameplay features of the game are: a far reaching story, challenging quests, tricky puzzles, a reputation system, strong opponents and lots of items!
Here is our free demo on Steam:

Greetings @BlackCaveEnt; I hope you and your team are doing well. Thank you for sharing your creation, “inAntrum,” here in the Unreal Engine forums! Your linked teaser trailer was more than enough to convince me to download the demo; I can’t wait to try it out.

Greetings @BlackCaveEnt !

Thank you so much for choosing UE as the game engine for your project! I saw your trailer and marveled at the beauty of your stylized environment and assets. This looks like a grand adventure full of magic, wonder, puzzles, and challenges!

How many people are involved in this project and what are their roles? Has your studio considered applying for Epic MegaGrants?

Finally, are the blue-winged characters based on the humanoid “blue avian” species? (they remind me of them) Or are the feathers and headdress part of their uniform/outfit?

Hello @Get_DOVAH_it !

Thank you for your kind words!

We are currently 3 Founders working on inAntrum, but last year we worked together with 4 Freelancers and two audio-/music-composers for a short time, when we made the first version of the Demo (supported by the german funding organisation “Film- und Medienstiftung NRW”).
We have considered applying for Epic MegaGrants, but wanted to launch our Kickstarter campaign first (Which is currently live). If the campaign is successfull, we can assess the money needed via Epic MegaGrants.

The “blue avian” were no inspiration for us (we didn’t know about them :D) but we certainly see the resemblance and just like the blue avians the feathers and headdress are part of their body too. The inspiration for the color and design of the birds was the bluetit (small european bird).
