In "Z order", is it the greater the number the closer the layer is to the top of the pile?

That would be correct! The lower the number the farther back it is, the higher the layer the closer to the front it is. :slight_smile:

Think of it like laying sheets of paper on your desk the first one is always 1, except in programming we start from 0 so the first one is 0, you lay one atop that its now 1
