In which unreal version DX12 support came out of experimental state?

I’m not a developer; simply asking for personal research. I know that dx12 was added as an experimental feature in 4.9 for windows and 4.11 for xbox one, but couldn’t find concrete information on when it came out of experimental state and became stable.

It hasn’t come out of experimental and become stable yet. That’s why you couldn’t find any information about it. DX12 and Vulkan are both still experimental.

It says DX12 is now the default for X1 (although doesn’t say if it became stable in that version or prior). Surely an experimental feature wouldn’t be allowed to be the default setting?

It doesn’t say anything about windows though. Does the unreal engine itself tell you if a feature is experimental, with a tag or a message?
