In Paragon assets provided Blendspaces, any example of how "Lean" is meant to be input?

Many of the paragon characters have some included blendspaces. Many of them have this input for “Lean”:

This should be tied somehow to our directional input, I think. If it was gamepad only I think we could just read the value of the joystick, but that wouldn’t make sense for keyboard. Perhaps keyboard it’s just on/off and we also have on/off for running/walking too.

Just asking though because perhaps there is a more sophisticated way to determine this lean value? Does anybody have some official examples, or a solution you use of your own creation?
