This issue is likely overlooked because it can’t present itself in Lyra due to the fact that they don’t have navigation heavy menus.
I added an on-screen keyboard. If I repeatedly tap “right” d-pad button, it works fine. If I combine repeatedly tapping “right” d-pad button with repeatedly tapping accept button then the tab order starts going up and down while skipping options.
Here is a video of the issue. When I input ‘zx’ at the start I’m only pressing right/accept, never up/down but it’s moving up/down.
Could it be a very low or non-existent dead-zone setting on the analog stick??.
Without it negating small shifts (so called stick drift) that can happen in time the stick can add in “fake” movement commands.
Maybe this needs to be negated in the input settings.
You can set the dead-zone in the axis setup unless you are using direct input and generic game pad (that needs a different option)
Try opening in parallel “setup usb gamepad controllers” and check your gamepad through diagnostics if any of the axis are jittering.
