In ALS, there will be a delay when the character is facing relative to the camera(or controller rotation). Does Fps Game games also do this?

it depends what kind of hierarchy u are using in your character. Unreal’s default character has the capsule as parent of the camera. So u can add some function with relative rotation to the cam that introduces then “offset” or if done over time delayed rotation.
In third person the cam is commonly used with a boom as parent and hence, has build in the delayed cam movement (boom settings details panel). For FP u would need to write a similar thing.
