In-Development Indie MMORPGs

Indie developers have been hard at work in the past years to create innovative and promising MMORPGs. Some have been building custom engines to feet their needs, but most are using off-the-shelf engines like Unreal. I’ve picked 13 popular indie MMORPGs that are currently in development and made a list. Some of them (Ashes of Creation, Mortal Online 2, Rise Online, Ship of Heroes and City of Titans) use Unreal Engine 4. Here’s the list!

Ashes of Creation [Alpha]

  • PvE content like missions, creatures and bosses that take several groups to defeat
  • An endless war between two kingdoms
