In Control Rig Graph, when I use a struct as a variable, all the variable names are displayed with long strings of numbers and letters—for example, instead of just showing “primary_bone”, it displays something like “primary_bone_6_C4B54D9F…”.
I found some post back in unreal 4.7 and it was promised to be fixed in 4.8, but here I am in 5.5. I didn’t test if it’s simply cosmetic problem, but it’s still annoying to have. Does anybody know work around?
I’ve already tried the following steps, but the problem persists:
- Compiling and saving, reloading everything
- Deleting and recreating the struct
- Editor Preference > Apperance > User Interface > Show Friendly Variable Name
