I am new to the Unreal and gamecommunity.
When I started to beginn with the unreal engine I had some hours of scratching my head due to some missing parts in the documentation.
Maybe we can get a thread up, where we post things that would helped us in the past.
So the Support maybe could add those parts to the documentation.
So I will start:
At the beginning I wanted to create a new CharacterClass and add some awesome abilities to it. But I never could trigger them, because I missed the information to announce it to the GameMode.
So the advice to add this
DefaultPawnClass = AMyCharacter::StaticClass();
to the GameMode would have helped me.
