I’ve noticed that very few customers leave a rating or review after purchasing a product. This is unfortunate, as more feedback would help highlight high-quality creations and better reward creators.
Here are two possible ways to encourage reviews:

Send an automatic email within 7 days of purchase, including a direct link to the product page.

Give creators access to buyers’ email addresses so we can request reviews directly.

As a seller myself, this is a big NO.
- Automatic emails are usually hated by customers and considered spam.
- Creators should not get access to buyers personal information. This wouldn’t even be legal in the EU.
Instead, customers should get a notification when they open FAB, about the assets they haven’t reviewed yet.
The sad truth is, the only people who actually receive ratings are those who build a social media following and nag their customers there to do it.
I understand your point of view. Sending emails is indeed a sensitive matter. When I mentioned it, I was referring to a single email without any follow-up.
Your suggestion to send a notification about unrated assets when the FAB opens seems like an excellent compromise.
