Prefab instance overrides can be promoted to the prefab and survive renames and reparenting, so changes made in the level can flow back to the source.
Building on clearing and tracing overrides, developers can promote an instance’s overrides to its prefab and detach an instance from its prefab. Overrides stay attached when a sub-entity is renamed or reparented.
