Any idea how to solve?

Hi ,

Could you please submit a bug report here and share a copy of both of your Twinmotion files packaged using the Resource Collector, as well as your crash logs (Where to find Twinmotion .log file)? Our support team can investigate this further and see what might be causing the problem.

Best,

Raghib

Hi Raghib,
I prepared a shared folder for your investigations. Here the link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1KExhrlJX6FPekLGoAW-1Eq-k7Pw7yAcJ?usp=share_link
To replicate the issue, open file “Showroom Tagina” and try to merge with “Esterno Tagina”.

Hope you will find what’s wrong. As workaround, I successfully saved “Esterno Tagina” as User Library Model and then import it in the other scene.

Best regards,
Stefano

Hi Stefano,

Thanks for sharing the files. I was able to replicate those crashes you were receiving when merging the files.

I wasn't able to identify any workarounds because both files crash, even when attempting to merge them with blank new projects.

I have escalated this issue for our engineers to review. If they identify any workarounds, I will let you know.

For now, if you want to merge these files, you may need to delete some problematic assets from the files in order for them to merge. I do not know which assets specifically caused the issue, so it will largely be due to trial and error to identify which of them is causing the issue.

Best,

Raghib

Thank you very much for your support, let me know if the engineers find a solution.
Best regards,
Stefano

Hi Stefano,

The engineers let me know that this issue should now be fixed in the new 2023.1 Preview 2 update that released this week. You should be able to merge these files in the new update.

Best,

Raghib

Great news, thank you Raghib!
