Impossible to Implement an Interface

How do you get this to work? Im having the same problem where it won’t even show up. This is Unreal Engine 5.1

Hey @acegxd! So up above in this post:

It talks about how they’re switched currently, it’s a known bug but harmless if you just remember that in this exact spot, they’re switched. You can’t add inherited interfaces, they’re inherited from their parent. So here is how you should look at it for now:

I realized that maybe I could have been more obvious with the explanation, so I marked it up, if that helps!

In this tutorial that i’m following the “implemented interface” shows up on the left sidebar in the blueprint tab and allows me to connect nodes to it… but i’m trying to find a way around it.

@acegxd Did you compile? Once an interface is implemented, you have to compile for their functions to show up in the variables window!

it’s working now! thanks <3

Thank god for the people here. I was so lost. I wish they released smaller updates more often for small things like this.

Hey @AmiralSakazuki! Welcome to the forums!

This is indeed a different problem, so if you would please go ahead and make a new post so we don’t continue to necro this thread, as it is a different problem from a different version.

Looking forward to helping you with it!
