Hello. I’m trying to have the bp_sky reflected properly in windows and generic reflections, but it doesn’t work. The only way to do that is tu use a hdri_backdrop, but in that way I can’t have sun, lightshafts, bloom and so on. So I wonder why is that. This is was already asked, but nobody replied.
Hey Daniel, I don’t know how to fix your problem, but i can definitely reccomend buying the ultra dynamic sky plugin. It takes some getting used to, but definitely worth your money.
Thank you for the advice. But a hdr map is the fastest and most realistic solution, so it’s a win win. Also I have to add specific backgrounds most of the time, so I can’t use a 3d sky. I also guess that volumetric clouds require some memory, and I’m often struggling with stability of my scenes.
Also I’m sure that it’s a matter to change or add some parameters, because hdri backdrop reflects correctly, but it doesn’t show the sun and other effects, otherwise the bp_sky shows sun and atmospheric effects but doesn’t reflect. They are both using a hdr map, so I don’t think is impossible to achieve all
