Unfortunately, your GPU, the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT does not support Path Tracer. Path Tracer requires a GPU which supports DirectX Raytracing (DXR) in order to utilize hardware accelerated raytracing. From AMD, the only GPUs that support DXR are the AMD Radeon RX 6000 series or newer. From NVIDIA, any of their RTX series GPUs support raytracing. You will need one of these graphics cards if you would like to use Path Tracer.
Hello, good afternoon, I have a GTX 1050 graphics card, what version of Twinmotion do I have to use or download for Path Tracin to work for me? (Twinmotion 2023 does not work)
In Twinmotion 2023.1/Unreal Engine 5.1, Path Tracer support for NVIDIA GTX cards, like your GeForce GTX 1070, was removed due to instability with the Path Tracer enhancements in this version, To use Path Tracer in Twinmotion 2023.1 going forward, you will need to upgrade to a compatible GPU (AMD Radeon RX 6000 series or newer or any NVIDIA RTX GPU).
You can continue using Path Tracer in Twinmotion 2022 with the GTX 1070 as these versions will continue to support Path Tracer on these graphics cards.
This would require you change your graphics card, since now only graphics cards that support hardware accelerated raytracing can use Path Tracer in newer versions of Twinmotion and Unreal Engine.
Unfortunately, the GTX 1050 does not support Path Tracer on any version of Twinmotion as it lacks support for DirectX Raytracing (DXR). For Twinmotion 2022, you need at minimum a GTX 1060, and for Twinmotion 2023 you can use any RTX graphics card.
