Importing this Attached Rigged Homer Simpson into a Skeleton Mesh

Hey everyone,
I am currently working in Maya 2017, and I have the attached Rigged Homer Simpson (/).
I am trying to import him as a third person mesh into UE4 so I can play as him.

I am getting an error saying something about Root Hierarchy. I know I only need to import the joints and the geometry but is there a quick way to do this in Maya 2017?
