How can I import texture maps from mindtex2. it says “Warning Warning: No smoothing group information was found in this FBX scene. Please make sure to enable the ‘Export Smoothing Groups’ option in the FBX Exporter plug-in before exporting the file. Even for tools that don’t support smoothing groups, the FBX Exporter will generate appropriate smoothing data at export-time so that correct vertex normals can be inferred while importing.”
Im not using mindtex 2 but the error you get comes from your Model and not your texture. Just bake the texture to a file like PNG and import it into UE4. And for your Model well I need to know what Modeling software you are using. Its usually a Setting on the FBX export you can turn On.
If haven’t been able to tell I’m kind of new To video game making in ue4. How could I bake it to a png file. It’s normally a obj file. And I wasn’t using a model to apply it to. The program takes photos and apples it to a cylinder, ball, plane, terrain, even a teapot. Thx
