Hello, I keep seeing articles saying you should join objects in Blender if you wish to import as a single object. The alternative seems to be re-assembling in a blueprint, what would you recommend? I’d really like to keep my Blender files non-destructive, but that seems to conflict with the workflow.
I’m new to game dev and modelling so I find this conflict a bit confusing, I imagine complex characters etc are really difficult to manage if you have to join every component.
