Is it possible to import a mesh to project texture?
I´d like to take a model from RC to ZBrush, clean it up, maybe even retopologize and unwrap it with custom uv and then take it back into RC to project textures again.

I would like to know as well, wasnt able to find any option. This is a HUGE feature/must implement if you guys want to compete with Photoscan.

For now you can import the model but this version does not keep custom UVs (RECONSTRUCTION / IMPORT MODEL).
We are working hard to finish the new version of texturing that will enable importing custom UVs ( + many other features ), but I cannot say a precise date of release. But it is almost finished. We will inform you when it is ready for testing.

Hello, i have this problem too. After i cleaned mesh in Zbrush and made custom UVs i tried to import the model to RC again but its very small.
Any ideas?

[SOLVED] Import Obj wrong place
I am dying here. I have imported a retopo mesh with uv’s etc.
I was hoping RC worked similar to AGI, where I import obj and just hit process ‘texture’ and it would give me a new texture matching the UV layout I have created. It does not seem to work. Instead my mesh stays in a low pointcloud view and no texture appears.
I am getting Model Info file not found
mesh importer could not find a companion .rcInfo file for the imported model .
Do I need this info when Im only importing a new obj file?
Can anyone help? I have crazy deadline and this is killing me

It used to work like that, but the newest update broke something. RC has been basically unusable for my workflow ever since the latest update.

Has anyone tried rolling back and testing? I realized in latest update it offset all my meshs, and wont import the models.
I just broke about 5 models. And am deciding to redo them from the start
I am new to the forums and also noticed there may be a fix for this.
