Guys having imported a UDK landscape I cant set up the materials correctly.
I’ve followed this tutorial:
Having created a new landscape material exactly as specified in the tutorial using 4 instead of 3 textures.
Because the 4 textures don’t yet exist I decided to use random ones that do in UE4 just as “placeholders” to complete the tutorial.
I managed to export 4 .raw files from UDK snow, dirt, rock and rubble and imported them as outlined in the tutorial above, but it seems to ignore the imported data and instead relies on the textures previously set.
Meaning I have a grotesque looking map.
