I hope I’ve put this topic in the right category..
We have thousands of .OBJ files (mostly XFrog Plants) which we would like to import to a Twinmotion UserLibrary.
I understand that:
a) Native .TMI files can be imported to a user library through Microsoft Explorer, by copy/pasting the files/folders into the /UserLibrary directory. This works great for our library of Humano3D models.
b) .OBJ files, or any other files, can only be imported to the UserLibrary through the combination of ‘Import’ and ‘Add to user library’ functions within Twinmotion itself. When you do this, it creates a copy of the file in .TMI format which can be viewed in Windows Explorer.
Does anyone know if there is a way to either batch convert .OBJ files to .TMI, or alternatively import many .OBJ files through Twinmotion to the UserLibrary without having to individually click ‘Add to user library’ on each imported file? Not meaning to sound lazy, but this is causing us workflow issues across the team, and it would take many weeks to manually import the files through the program.
Hopefully I’m missing something! Any help greatly appreciated.
