So I am trying to import an .fbx from Blender 5.0 to UE 4.27 (I’m a peasant I cannot afford a PC which runs 5.0). All meshes have faces, there are no textures, modifiers have been applied, all import/export options are correct. UE 4.27 refuses to accept the .fbx, why?
For context it is a bunker broken down into multiple pieces in order to create collision boxes that are correct. If there’s info yall need let me know, I don’t know to ask/say what I don’t know to ask/say.
Transfering assets between UE and Blender is always a point of conflict, regardless of the versions involved.
From your description, you have followed the process as intended, so it’s possible that Blender’s export format is too “modern” for UE4. Try installing Blender 4.0 (or even 3.0, technically it’s contemporary), then test the transfer again.
