Importing Complex Hard Surface Animations from Maya

Hello everyone, this one is driving me nuts: I used Maya to create a drone show made up of about 40 individual drones flying in a series of patterns. I’ve been trying to import the entire sequence into Unreal, and while the overall drones move the way they are supposed to, the individual propellers on each drone aren’t centered. I went in and looked at the bones, and all the propellers share a global pivot point, so when the animations plays, they’re flying all over the scene.

I tried the tutorials and can’t seem to figure this out. Unreal is importing all the drones as one skeleton, which works for the drones, but not the propellers. What’s the proper workflow to get this working properly? It’s been two full days trying to figure this out and I’m losing my mind lol
