I’ve been learning blender for about a month now and I figured out how to import a model with a single image texture into ue4, but i’m now creating more complex models that use more than one image texture for example a wooden texture on the outside of a house and a wallpaper texture for the inside walls, however every time I import it into ue4 it only uses one of the textures for the whole model. I think I’m doing something wrong in the materials in blender because the materials sphere only shows one texture even though there are 2 different material textures which is what I don’t understand.
Found that if i break the model up and open a new blender project and import each piece back into blender and pack the textures then it works. I’m sure there is an easier way but i have yet to find it.
You should add an extra material to your model in blender and use this one for your second texture. This will add a additional material slot (forgive the terminology) that you can assign the texture to in ue4. Let me know if this is too cryptic and I’ll post some screenshots.
