Importing an animation is almost perfect, but one mesh doesn't animate

Hi, I’m trying to import a skeletal mesh from blender and I almost got everything to work perfectly, but one of the attached meshes in the model does not animate in UE5. It was a composite mesh (i.e., I merged a plane and a cylinder) that I got to work fine with the character animation in Blender, however when I import it into UE5, the animation plays, but only that mesh remains static. I had to apply a modifier in blender to attach it to the armature, but I checked export modifiers when I exported it. Has anyone had an experience like this?

Update on this: I didn’t solve it directly; I just recreated the component using different primitives in blender and got it to work. Could be a coincidence. It’s possible it had something to do with the fact that I used a plane, but I don’t really know.
