Importing Alembic (.abc) file instantly crashes the editor

Hello, so the question is pretty straight forward, I can’t for the love of god figure out why is this happening…
-I will upload the file bellow, it’s bellow 2MB so if someone can import this for me and then send me the imported asset file, I’d be so thankful!

Also, here is the crash report, or what it said anyways… (Thank you if anyone can help me out <3)

Thanks

Still having same problem, two years later lol. Is there some sort of compression import option for alembics in UE that makes alembics a manageable size to run with?

I think I found the solution:
In my case I had to re-mesh my geometry. some of the faces weren’t triangles nor quads.
