Imported object collision

I am really new to using both Maya and UE4, but I’ve been reading some stuff and playing around with both to get a feel of them. I made a random complicated object in Maya and imported it to a default 3rd person project. I tried to get the player to stand on certain bumps and fit in gaps of the objects, but I can’t, there’s some sort of cylindrical barrier around the object that blocks the player. Is there a way to get the collision areas of the object match the shape of the object?
