Imported mesh problems noob help!

Hi everyone! I’m still a noob in everything UE. So I have made a couple of scenes with some cars that I modeled in Cinema 4D, exported the mesh to FBX then import to UE (5.1) with no lighting problems in the mesh. But in some cars it does happen as you can see in the image, 5.1 or 5.0 the same happens. I can’t seem to find a fix for this, please help!

So I’m not an expert with materials - I’m more of a gameplay person - but it looks to me like something is up with the textures. Maybe try replacing the windows and headlights with another texture from another car as an experiment? It’s possible the materials being exported have something about them that is different from the others and is causing this issue. As far as the body and the reflections, THAT is definitely a material issue. Most likely UV’s, but reflection is far out of my wheelhouse :frowning:

But that’s something you can start looking into, and hopefully soon someone with more graphical experience sees this and can help more!

Ok, so copying the materials from the ones that dont seem to have a problem, will try with that!! Yes the body is where the problem looks awful. Will play with UVs and look around for info on that!
