Imported items from maya appearing too small

Hi There

I imported an object into a project that I created in maya. The item imported very small and was unscaleable and unusable. I cant figure out how to fix this in the import process. If anyone can shed some light and tell me where i am going wrong I would appreciate it. The meshes and textures seem to be fine. I used fbx file type.


I don’t work with Maya enough to tell you how to adjust the scale on that side but in import options of unreal you can adjust the scale until you find the right size.

Do you have the scaling set correctly in Maya? I believe 1 unit in Maya is 1cm in Unreal.
