So I made an animation earlier in Blender, imported it to UE4, and it worked fine. However, now when I try to import a certain animation I did, it imports many animations with names like ANIM_CAMERA, ANIM_CAMERA_ICOSPHERE, ANIM_LAMP_ICOSPHERE. I tried using the animation that sounded like what I needed, but when the animation starts, the object disappears. Why is this happening?
This seems dead as it has been left unanswered but what I gather from what you are describing is that when you Export from blender you don’t just export your model. It sounds like you are exporting everything which results in extra animations when you import to Unreal that won’t work because those objects were not animated or not recognized but Unreal.
Best was is when exporting select the mesh you want exported then on the exporter itself select “SELECTED OBJECTS” this should solve the problem.
