How do I fix this distortion?
The mesh looks fine in Blender and was triangulated before import.
When I change the blend mode to opaque, the distortion disappears, but I still get some odd looking artifacts.
Found a solution.
It seems like Nanite doesn’t work with translucent materials.
How I understand, the engine will use a fallback mesh, which turned out to be slightly distorted in my case. (fallback target was “relative error” by default - it also works if it is set to percent triangles)
