Imported animations are too slow

Hi! So I’ve made my own custom animations inside maya for a monster. An idle, walk and run animation. However, when I import the walk animation inside unreal, it is considerably slowed down. As if he was walking in slow motion. I tried different methods to fix this. The first walk cycle had 200 frames. It looked good and natural inside maya but onced imported inside unreal it was twice as slow. So I tried exagerating things a bit by doing a 48 frames walk cycle, which looked very fast inside maya. I imported it inside unreal but it was just as slow as the 200 frames animation.

Am I supposed to accelerate animations inside unreal? What am I doing wrong? :frowning:

make sure in your maya settings, that you’re setting the animation playback to 30 fps, default is something like “every frame”
