imported animation packs, but animation sequences are in A-Pose because of skeleton (probably)

I downloaded multiple animation .uasset packs recently. I imported one of them into my project, but its skeletal mesh and animation sequences are not connected to the skeleton. I connected them as shown in the pictures I sent. However, even now, the animation sequences require me to select a skeleton for them. When I select the project skeleton, the animation window opens, but the character is in the A-pose.

  1. I have imported these packs many times.
  2. I tried to export the animation sequence and then import it again, but the exported FBX is broken, and Unreal can’t open it.
  3. I also tried to delete the project skeleton and replace it with the UE skeleton, but that does not work either.
  4. tested them in different versions of engine.

I tried this process for multiple animation packs, but each one of them has this problem.

Do you think the animation packs are broken, or am I doing something wrong here?
