It appears that the DataSmith plug-in exporter is not available for Maya. I know there is a SDK but hey, I'm not willing to put my hand in programming such thing.
Current approach:
So I tried FBX approach. The FBX export a group of meshes with some simple shaders with no textures assigned as I'd like to use the TwinMotion library instead.
The problem:
When I need to modify the topology of a mesh or add a mesh to group to export, TwinMotion acts unexpectedly. The texture scale might changes and the shaders assignation is totally messed up.
What solution do you guys know so I can modify with flexiblity at any time my Maya scene and bridge the content in TwinMotion without issue?
