Import vs Build?

I have a relatively simple question that I can’t seem to find a straightforward answer to. I want to create a model of a building near where I live as practice, its about the size of a large house, has lots of railings, lot of windows and corners. I can make it in Blender, no problemo, I’ve got several years of experience with it, but I’m new to the whole game development scene and I’m not sure if it would benefit me to create the model in Blender and then import it, or try to create it out of geometry already existing inside of UE.

Basically what I’m asking is, would it make it more playable if I made it in UE or made it in Blender?

If you have the skills like yousay then do it for one they will increase your skills and 2 they will be original always a plus. Blender if possible cause your able to do thing in there that you cant in unreal

Build it in Blender, it will be easier with the better modeling skills and it will run better in the engine. You should only use the engine level building tools to block out the level, not for the final meshes.

Okay, thanks guys!
