Hey there, I’m in need of help with something.
I’m been trying to import a .uasset file from GTA San Andreas The Definitive Edition to UE4 to then convert that file to .fbx but I can’t even get it into UE4 to begin with.
I’ve watched a few Youtube tutorials on it but with no luck.
I would appreciate it if anyone could help me out.
Best regards,

.uasset doesnt need importing. you SHOULD be able to just copy it directly into your contents folder and it will appear in the project.
Then (assuming its a 3d model) just right click and export as .fbx.
Good luck.
If i’ve misunderstood, let me know and ill take another look
Thanks for your help, that’s what I thought too but it’s just not working.
I’ve followed these tutorials (1 and 2) as well but without success.
This has become an obstacle for the past week or so and
I’m hoping that there is a solution to this problem
so we can continue on something that’s gonna bring joy to people.
Best regards,
When you received the models from GTA, it probably corrupted the file leading to it not being able to import.
