Import Static Mesh from Zbrush?

Hello Everyone,

Ok, I have a question about importing a static mesh that I make in Zbrush.

Does the Unreal Editor tool kit have a feature where I can make a skeleton for a static mesh that I create in Zbrush?

Do I need 3ds Max for creating the skeleton for animation cycles? or Is there something in the Unreal 4 Toolkit that I can use?

thanks,

You need an external 3D app to create your skeleton …indeed

Thanks, would you recommend 3ds Max or Maya?

That’s personal preference and what you’re more familiar with. In my experience Maya has the best tools for animation and I personally like Max for modeling. I learned on Maya in college but have used Max all throughout my professional career.
