Import partial keyframe animation (maya to unreal) questions

Hey you all
little question

I have this Dragon fly maya model, on which only the Wings are animated. Keyframes animation.
The Body consists of multiple parts, no rigging

I want to export it to unreal engine via gameexporter (fbx) but if i do so the wings disappear
What would you think would be the best way to export it to unreal?

Additional question:
The thing with fbx is that you have a lot of individual parts when you import a model to unreal.
how can combine all parts, but still be able to texture individually? No UV mapping just drag and dropping materials on the individual parts
I was thinking of a blueprint actor here but I dont know if or how I can add animation to it

Basically I want this Dragonfly as β€œone” actor which i can put materials on and that still has an animation.

Thanks:)
You helped me a lot with a lot of problems so far
