Import into level (fbx scene importer) broken?

1st, it’s painfully slow.

2nd, when I import a scene, no matter if I tick or untick ‘‘import meshes as dynamic’’, all my meshes end up being set to ‘‘movable’’ in the scene blueprint that is created. I have to manually change each mesh to static. It takes about 5 seconds per mesh and I have 4300 meshes…

Is it a limitation, a bug or I just import too many meshes?

I don’t have Unreal here at work, but can’t you do it with the scene outliner, select all your meshes and rightclick to change properties on them at once? I don’t remember if it’s flexible enough for that.

This was an issue in 4.12 but was fixed with 4.13. Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-32354)

If the issue is still happening in 4.13.1 for your can you please re-open on of the answerhub posts in the link above or post a new Bug Report and I’ll look into it.
