importing a fbx only the skeletal part is visible. The other mesh seems not imported. How to have also this imported with some skeletal mesh?
Not sure to really understand your question but:
To export a skeletal mesh from your 3D app you have to:
- Link all your objects and the name of your parent is the main name of your skeletal mesh in UE4 (each name for the children doesn’t matter)
- Select ALL your objects and export them all at once and don’t forget to check the ‘Export Animation’ from your FBX dialog window
If you are exporting a skeletal mesh, make sure the mesh and all the bones are selected and choose File>Export. Your mesh must also be smooth bound(Maya) or Skinned(Max). Prior to export and binding make sure your inputs and transforms are clean too. Makes a huge difference.
