Import collision from another mesh?

Hi there,

I have this platform in the picture with the collision set as “Complex as simple”, so every polygon counts. The grass pouring out the edges looks nice, but it’s a pain in the ■■■ when it comes to jumping on the platform. Many times I bump into the grass, which I’d like to go through.

My idea is to import the same mesh with those polygons removed and use it only to build my collision. Is it possible?
If not, do you have any other suggestions?

In the static mesh editor you are able to remove any part of the collision you want. But i think it would be easier and more accurate to just build the collision exactly how you want it in a 3D modeling software.
