First of all, I would like to apologize for my English. I hope I will be able to be clear, especially because my request isn’t that simple to explain.
I am currently using the demo version of RC, and here is what I would like to do :
I use different technologies (photogrammetry and portable 3D scanner) in order to get the most realistic models of objects. I thought about using RC to combine models from scanner and texture from photogrammetry. The scanner that I use doesn’t work as a regular scanner because it creates textured clouds straight from the acquisition (obj files). I tried to convert them into e57 files and import them into RC. Unfortunately, it seems that RC doesn’t recognize the file as an “already computed cloud”, but as cloud viewed from where the center of the scanner should be.
Basically, my question is : is it possible to import a cloud which is already computed and use some pictures to improve the texture, or does RC reads only “raw clouds” from regular scanner?
