Can you guys help me on this please? So, I’m using the cloth painting to make my character’s hair move more “naturally”, but look at this, this is my character’s hair without the cloth paint:
It’s possible to make the cloth paint work but keeping the mesh’s format without any changes or it’s not designed for this? I’m using Unreal 4.27.2, unfortunately I can’t migrate my project to 5 and above.

I’ve had this issue too — hair and clothes seem to “implode” or collapse inward when using paint tools, which is odd. I think maybe it might be a weight paint or mesh deformation settings issue. You could try and see if your bone weights, normals, or vertex groups are out of balance.
Have we tested if turning off cloth simulation or physics reset solves it in the short term?
Yeah unfortunately i already tried those but no results so far, i even tried to redo everything like create new physics and even a new hair The thing is, my character’s hair is a bit “thick” because it’s a cartoon\anime style game.
