Images not shown in 2d

Hi there,

while running RC, all of a sudden 2d-view would not show images anymore even though it did just a moment ago. The images are definately loaded, alignment, texturing everything works, but they do not show in 2d-view. Changing to 1d and back to 2d did not help, restarting the app did not help, restart computer did not help, resetting the app to fresh install did not help, trying with different images did not help, writing this post will help?

As you may or may not see - the little icons in 1d-view are also missing.

 

RC 1.0.3.10393 running on Win7…still.

Hello dear user, 
please use Shift+double click on the RealityCapture Icon and select Reset the application settings and then again and Make it like a clean install. Report back whether this helped.

Hi Erik,

I wrote ‘resetting the app to fresh install did not help,’ so of course I tried that. Thanks anyway, it fixed itself somehow, but this kind of standard answer was of no help.

Just so you know…

I found the problem and it is not directly related to RC:

If I log into my Win7 Workstation via RemoteDesktop the 2D Images are NOT shown!

If I log into my Win7 Workstation via TeamViewer the 2D Images are shown!

If I log into my Win10 Workstation via RemoteDesktop or TeamViewer the 2D Images are shown!

So I guess it is really time to update to Win10 :slight_smile:
