images align in 0 seconds with no results

I am having trouble when aligning images in RC. No matter what images I import to, after pressing ‘Align Images’ I will always get a dialogue saying ‘Aligning Images finished in 0 seconds’ and nothing at all will have happened.
Could there be some settings that I have inadvertently changed? I have no Idea. Is someone able to point me in the right direction please?

In Alignment Settings under the advanced tab, try it with merge components only = False.
It worked for me, hope it helps.

This issue is not resolving for me. I have held down shift when starting RC to reset settings, and I have double checked the setting of “Merge Components” which is not true or false, but yes or no (see screenshot). RC still only aligns for 0 seconds and reconstructs nothing. I’ve also restarted my computer, etc. Any other suggestions?
