ImagePlate black and other issues

Hi. I have some problems using Imageplate. I want to use Imageplate together with imported camera tracking.

  1. When importing an image sequence in PNG or JPG, the Imageplate goes black.

  2. If I import an image sequence with more than 500 frames, the import fails.

3. Would it be possible to put a video directly as an image plate instead of an image sequence ?

I’m also researching the use of something like this. I’m looking to create 2d animated planes within the 3d environments for filmmaking purposes. This this might be related to what you are trying to do.
