I purchased RC two days ago and it is awesome. It worked very well at first.
With a setup of around 200 cameras I was able to get very good results reconstructing a full body with the defaults setups and just “adding the images, aligning the images, setting an automatic reconstruction region, then reconstructing with normal details and texturing”
It worked well with around 10 scans with the same configuration of cameras.
Sudenly RC started to do this when I tried to align the images.
I re-align the image and it add some cameras but not enough.
Does anyone have an idea what happened? It does this for all my new series of photos and with the old (from yesterday) who worked fine at first.
I thought I changed some settings by mistakes so I tried reseting the default settings but It still does this.
Hi Karim Toubal
If you have a fixed setup, then it is possible to reuse the GOOD alignment so that you always get good results ( if you do NOT change camera positions and orientation )
I am preparing a complete workflow for this…
Hi Karim Toubal
No, under a good alignment I mean a proper workflow to get it done, so that it is set on good data that are properly aligned and then, with the help of (metadata-XMP) transfer, the good alignment to the bad working data…
Do you have a good dataset where all cameras are aligned and NO camera changes have been done to the scanner setup ?
